EUROe’s expansion to Solana brings a native euro to the blockchain, enabling new use cases such as foreign exchange, euro payments, and store of value for Europeans while also ensuring compliance in anticipation of the Markets in Crypto Assets (MiCA) set to take effect in 2024.
EUROe is a MiCA-compliant euro stablecoin which can be created and redeemed in a 1:1 ratio, without fees, by anyone with a EUROe Account. EUROe is backed by 100% bankruptcy-protected cash and 2% CET1 equity capital in European financial institutions or banks.
